Development of Executive Functions Workshop

Executive functions are a group of processes responsible for temporary storage and updating of information, flexibly selecting information, inhibiting attention for irrelevant cues and showing goal-directed behaviour. Over the past few decades, attention for the development of executive functions has grown considerably. Hotly debated topics are the factor structure of executive functions, factors involved in developmental change, neuroscientific underpinnings of behavioural outcomes, and implications for learning and behaviour.

This workshop aims to bring together postgraduate students, postdoctoral researchers and experienced researchers from within Europe.

Speakers include:
- Gaia Scerif (University of Oxford)
- Claire Hughes (Cambridge University)
- Lisa Jonkman (Maastricht University)
- Gunilla Bohlin (Uppsala University)
- Mariėtte Huizinga (University of Amsterdam)
